OPSD-Duke PRIME PUMP Student Assistant
Internship DurationJune 1 – July 26, 2026
Primary Responsibilities- Participate in a laboratory research project under the mentorship of Duke Faculty and lab team
- Attend structured professional development and networking sessions in research methodology, and career development
- Participate in clinical activities related to the faculty mentor’s area of research
- Collaborate with faculty, staff and medical students
- Deliver a presentation about the research experience
- Available to start on campus June 1st
- Commit to full-time (40 hours/week) research for eight weeks
- Provide names/contact information of two references
- Submit Curriculum Vitae and Undergraduate transcript
- Clinical shadowing vaccine requirements: TB, MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Flu
- Excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Demonstrate excellence in previous academic endeavors
