Job Description

As a Security Officer - Rover Driver in Hampton, AR
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aero and defense location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. You will also respond to service calls, document observations, and support access and perimeter checks with professionalism and integrity.

This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license.

What You ll Do
  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct access control activities including verifying identification, reviewing visitor authorization, issuing temporary credentials when applicable, and directing guests to designated areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, fire alarms, suspicious activity, and facility notifications.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter routes to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entry points, restricted areas, and high-value locations for unusual conditions, open doors, unsecured equipment, and/report findings per post orders.
  • Operate and/or monitor security-related equipment such as radios, surveillance systems, access control panels, and intrusion alarms, and escalate issues when needed.
  • Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, documenting observations, actions taken, and notifications made in accordance with site procedures.
  • Communicate clearly with site leadership, Allied Universal supervision, and/or local responders as directed, providing accurate information and timely updates.
  • Support key control and asset accountability processes as assigned, including tracking issuance and return of keys and access devices.
  • Follow all site rules related to controlled areas, prohibited items, and information handling, and report potential compliance concerns through the proper channels.
Minimum Requirements
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
