** Hot Springs National Park, AR** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and professionalism.

This is a driving post and requires an armed guard card or license and a valid in-state driver's license. You will represent our agile, reliable, and innovative team while putting people first.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a government location by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identifying conditions that may require attention.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation when appropriate and coordinating with site leadership and/or local public agencies as directed.

+ Control access at designated entrances, verify identification and/or authorization, monitor key areas, and follow post orders for screening, restricted areas, and visitor management.

+ Document and report security-related activity, incidents, and patrol findings in a clear and timely manner, and maintain required armed post readiness in accordance with applicable laws, licensing, training requirements, and site policies.

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ A minimum of 3 or more years of military police, corrections officer, armed security, and/or certified law enforcement graduate experience is required.

+ An armed guard card and/or license is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
