Security Officer Driver Access Control

This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, production spaces, and perimeter gates.
• Screen visitors, contractors, and deliveries, maintain required logs and documentation, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding access requests and unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating security‑related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, yards, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting maintenance issues, access concerns, and/or suspicious activity.

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
