Location:

Snyder, TX (full‑time on‑site). The Solar Field Service Technician (Level
1) performs field maintenance and learns safe work practices in the solar industry.

• Ensure safety is the top priority, following safe practices and seeking guidance when uncertain.
• Operate and care for company property, equipment, and tooling.
• Service equipment across multiple solar plants under supervision.
• Perform basic solar equipment testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks using monitoring programs.
• Replace or repair solar parts and equipment under supervision.
• Respond “on‑call” as directed by supervisor to assist in emergency repairs.
• Prepare accurate documentation and reports of work performed.
• Complete other assigned responsibilities.
• Assess and suggest improved processes, collaborate on new technologies, and coordinate with EPC management on implementations.

• High School Diploma or GED; vocational/technical school training is a plus.
• Experience in mechanical/electrical environments, with foundational knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of lock‑out/tag‑out procedures for energized parts/systems.
• Basic understanding of solar installation and plant operations.
• Basic knowledge of testing equipment.
• Computer operation skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• NFPA 70e Safety Training certification; commitment to ongoing safety and technical training.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Organizational skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work in remote locations under extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to work “on‑call,” including weekends or after‑hours.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to operate a company vehicle.
• Travel up to 10% for training, certifications, and site coverage.
• Physical capability to stoop, bend, crouch, reach, lift 50lbs or more, and maintain finger dexterity and depth perception.
• Compliance with U.S. work authorization without requiring future sponsorship.

• Exposure to weather, harsh outdoor environments, vibration, dust, fumes, electric shock, radiation, and toxic/caustic chemicals.
• Frequent stooping, bending, crouching, reaching, handling, finger dexterity, sitting, standing, walking, and lifting 50lbs or more.
• Continuous finger dexterity and visual acuity at close and long ranges, hearing, speaking, and depth perception.
• Occasional climbing, carrying, and working near moving mechanical parts.
• Potential high noise intensity levels.

Hourly pay ranging from $25.02 to $31.27.
