Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring that all systems and equipment are functioning optimally. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and repair activities to maintain a safe and efficient environment.

• Conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.
• Utilize schematics and logic controllers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Oversee residential painting projects as needed, ensuring high-quality finishes.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs completed and materials used.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules without disrupting operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
• Dual role of security while on duty.

• Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance.
• Proficiency in electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair techniques.
• Familiarity with schematics and logic controllers for troubleshooting purposes.
• Experience in residential painting is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and other departments.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Boiler license required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
