Termite Technician
Termite Technicians use their expertise to protect customers' properties from wood-destroying organisms. They are the first line of defense in preserving and safeguarding customers' properties, providing inspections, prevention, and treatment services that create peace of mind.
Responsibilities- Identify customer's termite problems and determine remedial steps.
- Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines.
- Apply anti-termite treatments to structures following schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions.
- Communicate critical conditions to customers and discuss procedures and structural modifications.
- Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order.
- Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.
- Complete production forms documenting services provided.
- Interact with customers and explain services provided.
- Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather and damp/dusty locations.
- Prepare the job site for treatment.
- Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders.
- Be comfortable working 20 feet up on a ladder and in small confined spaces.
- General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter, and attic experience is a plus.
- Ability to work on roofs and high areas.
- Move frequently, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA‑compliant respirator; work in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways.
- Clean shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers need a seal).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license from the state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided).
- At least 1 year of customer service; experience in termite control is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Flexible with working hours, Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed.
- Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us).
- Basic math skills; able to follow instructions for mixing on product labels.
