RVI Scranton Maintenance Electrician Project Crew
Pay Range: $22.45 – $31.10
Work Shift:
A Shift (United States of America)
- Understand and work with 110, 240, and 480‑volt AC motor and DC drive systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Use all electrical hand tools and estimate and design basic electrical systems.
- Install, replace, and troubleshoot conduit, pipe, and electrical systems in the plant.
- Assist in projects that require welding, hydraulics, power transmissions, pneumatics, fabrication, pipe fitting, rigging, mechanical layout, and plumbing.
- Operate heavy industrial equipment such as cranes, boom lifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers, and forklifts.
- Fabricate and assemble catwalks, handrails, transitions, and equipment supports.
- Calculate wire and pipe sizes, line up pipe runs, and estimate completion times.
- Follow OSHA, NEC Codes, and plant safety policies and procedures.
- Document work and communicate findings verbally and in writing.
- Minimum of 3 months industrial maintenance work experience.
- Preferable electrical knowledge or enrollment or degree in an electrical field.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and any required hours up to more than 12 hours per day.
- Travel to other facilities as needed.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work legally in the United States.
- Must pass a post‑offer urinalysis screening.
- Physical ability to lift more than 60 lbs, climb stairs and ladders, and operate in wet, humid, dusty, or extremely hot environments.
- Willingness to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Rehire criteria: minimum waiting period of 180 days; no more than three prior periods of employment at Tyson Foods.
