Field Service Technician - Level 2

Road Mechanic

Road mechanic/technician role performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime. Fleet includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and specialty lines such as large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment.

• Perform preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment in remote locations.
• Diagnose and repair diesel and heavy construction equipment, including generators, pumps, HVAC, and oil & gas systems.
• Conduct troubleshooting of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain accurate service records and comply with safety protocols.
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3–5 years of experience as a mechanic with diesel equipment or specialty lines.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL license may be required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., squat, crouch, reach, and work indoors/outdoors.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to use mechanic’s tools of trade.
• Fluency in Spanish or other languages may be required based on location.

Base Pay Range: $24.05 – $33.06 per hour (starting rate may vary based on location, education, training, and experience).
