Diesel Mechanic

As a Diesel Truck/Trailer Maintenance Mechanic at Ecowaste Solutions, you will be performing preventative maintenance and repairs on tractor and trailer equipment.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fleet equipment safely and correctly.
• Conduct failure analysis, repairs, and rebuild fleet equipment components correctly.
• Inform management about housekeeping opportunities, harmful working conditions and unsafe work practices, and suggest corrective actions.
• Identify and inform management of broken tools and missing supplies required for performing repairs on fleet equipment and take steps to solve the issue if possible.
• Correctly complete complex work orders with proper description of condition, cause, and correction, including properly completing a warranty return tag as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Valid state‑issued CDL driver's license preferred.
• Experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair or a technical school degree, or certification in Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance with a specialty in Diesel.
• Experience in advanced diagnostics.
