- Possess, or be in the last six months of pursuing, an associate degree in a technical discipline such as Electro-Mechanics, Mechatronics Technology, Automation Controls/SCADA, Robotics, or a similar program.
- Take pride in maintaining neat and orderly conditions where you work and promote safe conditions.
- Diagnose and correct any electrical trouble; install new wiring, conduits, hook‑ups; balance electrical loads; make continuity checks; replace electrical problems on all plant equipment; take out or make changes in equipment per instructions or drawings.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays as necessary to serve our customer because our quality is their safety.
- Experience working in industrial maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience of solving recurring problems through determination of root cause.
- Experience with maintenance and preventative maintenance of electrical equipment, such as electrical distribution equipment, sub‑stations, transformers, motors, generators, starters, motor controls, switches, relays, automatic controls, lighting equipment, minor electronic equipment, communication equipment, circuit breakers, storage batteries, and temperature controls.
- Assist, analyze, and perform tests to obtain data as required; know electrical principles and be familiar with 1 and 3 phase AC or DC circuits.
- Know electrical code covering laws of installation of electrical equipment; use test equipment, such as V.O.M., Ammeters, DVM, signal generators, logic analyzers and probes, chart recorder, and other related equipment.
Qualified applicants will be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.
PayCompetitive Salary:
The starting rate of pay for this position is $37/hour with a $0.50 shift differential for second shift and a $2.00 shift differential for third shift. Other benefits and incentives may apply; pay and benefits overview:
