Position Overview:

Prime Telecom Solutions is seeking a dedicated and skilled Aerial Foreman to join our aerial division. This role is crucial for the efficient and precise aerial installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic cables. You will be expected to convey a professional appearance and demeanor when communicating the services to the public. The Aerial Foreman oversees the planning and execution of more complex aerial telecommunications projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.

This position requires intermediate-level experience and leadership abilities to manage larger crews and more demanding tasks. The Foreman plays a key role in the project’s success and works closely with upper management to meet project goals. You will work closely with Project Managers to manage your workload effectively. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of aerial installation crews, ensuring efficient work completion.
  • Manage larger projects, including planning, crew assignments, material management, and job site logistics.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project specifications and timelines.
  • Perform detailed site inspections and ensure the quality of all aerial installations, including fiber splicing, pole placement, and cabling.
  • Implement safety measures, conduct safety meetings, and monitor compliance with OSHA and industry regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during construction and repair processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, crew hours, and material usage.
  • Train and mentor crew members to improve their skills and performance.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in aerial telecommunications or construction.
  • Proficient in the use of office hardware and software (PCs, Tablets, Printers, Copiers, Microsoft, Google, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of aerial construction techniques, including fiber optic and coax cable installations.
  • A valid driver’s license required with a good driving record is required (Class A CDL is a plus)
  • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and technical documents.
  • Effective leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with aerial safety standards and regulations.
