Green Forest Refrigeration Lead - 2Nd Shift

Job Details

Education and Experience: Minimum 6 months of mechanic work experience or refrigeration experience in work history, or graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.

• Assist the supervisor in coordinating daily departmental responsibilities and ensuring instructions are communicated effectively to team members.
• Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure safe and effective operation of equipment and team.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
• Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.
• Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
• Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.

• Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation.
• Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

• Effective communication skills.
• Basic math skills including percentages, fractions, and measurements.

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs occasionally; lift 20 lbs frequently.
• Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
• Ability to work in confined and tall spaces, walk, climb, utilize a ladder, operate a lift, bend, and stoop.
• Repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling; frequent overhead work.
• Temperatures inside the plant may vary from –25°F to over 100°F; outside work may also be needed.
• Willing and able to work overtime and weekends.
• Willing and able to furnish own tools.
• Read and understand blueprints, manuals and work orders.

• PSM Experience.
• Refrigeration experience.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems and in‑depth knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and controls.

• Work Shift:
  
  D Shift (United States of America).
• Applicants will be considered for Refrigeration Maintenance level openings; leveling is determined during the interview process based on skillset, knowledge, and experience.
