RVI Scranton Maintenance Electrician

Pay Range: $22.45 – $31.10 per hour

Work Schedule:

Wednesday–Saturday nights (D Shift)

• Design, estimate, and troubleshoot basic electrical systems in the plant.
• Read and work from schematics; use all necessary electrical hand tools.
• Install, replace, and maintain conduit and wiring.
• Perform routine maintenance on 110V, 240V, 480V AC motors and DC drive systems.
• Operate heavy industrial equipment such as cranes, boom lifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers, and forklifts.
• Lift more than 60lb and climb stairs and ladders.
• Apply OSHA and NEC codes and plant safety policies in all work.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records.

• Minimum 3 months of industrial maintenance experience; electrical knowledge or enrollment in an electrical field preferred.
• Ability to read schematics, calculate wire and pipe sizes, and estimate completion times.
• Knowledge of welding, hydraulics, power transmissions, pneumatics, fabrication, pipe fitting, rigging, mechanical layout, and plumbing is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to lift >60lb, climb stairs and ladders, and operate heavy equipment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Prefer applicants willing to work A, B, C, or D shift; current D Shift applicants accepted.
• Must not have worked for Tyson three or more times and must have at least 180 days since any prior separation.
