Journeyman Electrician
Our Emerson Plywood and Veneer manufacturing in Emerson, Arkansas has an opening for a skilled Industrial Electrician with a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of electrical equipment, process and techniques to safely repair, modify, install and maintain the facility and high-tech manufacturing equipment. The pay range for this role is $25-$40 per hour. Key functions include safely repairing and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems, preventative maintenance responsibilities, support of goals and objectives of the entire maintenance team, and basic PLC troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
Must possess a high school diploma or GED, stable employment history, willingness and ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, a personal and total commitment to observe all safety rules and regulations, good working knowledge of industrial electricity issues, commitment to follow all unit electrical/maintenance practices, a team player who is committed to quality work, ability to pass a pre-employment examination, commitment to wear all personal protective equipment, and ability to work in a manufacturing environment to include climbing stairs and catwalks and the ability to work in extreme heat/cold.
Preferred qualifications include vocational or technical school certificate in related area, experience with SAP, Maximo or other CMMS, PLC troubleshooting or programming experience.
