Maintenance Technician

ALPLA Inc., a global leader in plastic packaging, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our high-volume manufacturing operations. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, and help minimize downtime in a safety- and quality-focused environment. You'll collaborate with production and engineering teams, support equipment installations and changeovers, and contribute to continuous improvement while working with modern, sustainable manufacturing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime
• Support equipment setups, changeovers, and calibrations for production lines
• Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and work orders in CMMSFollow and promote safety, quality, and GMP standards in all maintenance tasks
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery and upgrades
• Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain tools, spare parts, and work areas in an organized, audit-ready condition
