Senior Millwright

West Fraser is seeking a Senior Millwright to support our Manufacturing operation in the Skilled Labor department. In this role, you will install, troubleshoot, and repair state-of-the-art milling and wood products equipment to maximize safety, reliability, and uptime. You'll perform preventive and predictive maintenance, read blueprints, align and fabricate components, and collaborate closely with operations in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair mill machinery and production equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic failures and perform corrective repairs
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime
• Align, balance and calibrate rotating and moving equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and equipment manuals
• Fabricate and weld components as needed for equipment repair or upgrades
• Follow strict safety, Lockout/Tagout and environmental procedures
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to improve reliability
• Document maintenance work, parts usage and equipment history
• Support continuous improvement and mill modernization initiatives
