Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Hot Springs, AR
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Pay: $36.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support and maintain critical facility systems in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of boilers, HVAC systems, water processing equipment, wastewater treatment systems, production equipment, and overall facility infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, experience performing preventative maintenance, and a commitment to workplace safety.

• Maintain and support facility systems, including boilers, HVAC, water processing, wastewater treatment, building maintenance, and production equipment.
• Perform hourly and daily boiler checks, routine inspections, preventative maintenance, corrective repairs, and equipment testing.
• Identify recurring equipment issues and assist with root-cause analysis to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Repair, rebuild, clean, test, and replace electrical and mechanical components as needed.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, retrofits, and contractor/vendor projects.
• Maintain accurate preventative maintenance records, repair logs, and testing documentation.
• Recommend improvements to preventative maintenance programs and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, contractors, and vendors to support safe and efficient facility operations.
• Respond to equipment issues and support production needs as required.

• Arkansas Boiler Operator License required.
• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Experience with HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, compressors, water treatment, and compressed air systems .
• Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read mechanical drawings and OEM technical documentation.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs; SAP experience .
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to interpret computer-generated reports.
• Strong communication, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to perform physical inspections, including climbing, reaching, bending, and lifting as needed.
• Available for call-ins or shift coverage when necessary to support operations.
