• Assess client eligibility and provide individualized case management.
• Develop service plans tailored to client needs.
• Conduct home visits, interviews, and risk assessments.
• Maintain detailed case records and documentation.
• Advocate for clients in legal, medical, and housing matters.
• Be prepared to work non‑standard hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Participate in a 24‑hour on‑call rotation up to 7 days.
• Operate a motor vehicle safely and maintain reliable personal transportation.
• Travel extensively within the state and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and transport children and adults as needed.
• Work with families experiencing poverty, addiction, neglect, or abuse and handle stressful situations.

• Crisis intervention and de‑escalation techniques.
• Arkansas social service laws, policies, and regulations.
• Analysis of client needs and creation of action plans.
• Understanding of behavioral health and protective services.

• Minimum of two years of work experience in human services programs or public service.
• Background check and child/adult maltreatment registry check required.

• Experience working with children and/or families.
• Community engagement or knowledge of community resources.
• Public speaking and computer experience.
• Strong organizational skills.
