- Assess client eligibility and provide individualized case management.
- Develop service plans tailored to client needs.
- Conduct home visits, interviews, and risk assessments.
- Maintain detailed case records and documentation.
- Advocate for clients in legal, medical, and housing matters.
- Be prepared to work non‑standard hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Participate in a 24‑hour on‑call rotation up to 7 days.
- Operate a motor vehicle safely and maintain reliable personal transportation.
- Travel extensively within the state and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. and transport children and adults as needed.
- Work with families experiencing poverty, addiction, neglect, or abuse and handle stressful situations.
- Crisis intervention and de‑escalation techniques.
- Arkansas social service laws, policies, and regulations.
- Analysis of client needs and creation of action plans.
- Understanding of behavioral health and protective services.
- Minimum of two years of work experience in human services programs or public service.
- Background check and child/adult maltreatment registry check required.
- Experience working with children and/or families.
- Community engagement or knowledge of community resources.
- Public speaking and computer experience.
- Strong organizational skills.
