Pay: $16.00–$17.17 per hour based on education and experience.

As a Cook, you will ensure that healthy and tasty food is prepared and served to the youth and staff on‑site, help maintain the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen and dining area, and be an active team player within the department. Training will be provided; however if you have related experience and/or Serv‑Safe certification, you may be eligible to start above entry‑level.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test.
• Be able to pass a search of the Child and Adult Abuse Central Registry.
• Have a clean driving record and an active driver’s license.

Full‑time and part‑time available. AM Shift: 4:30 AM – 1:00 PM. PM Shift: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience preparing and cooking food in accordance with Federal, State, local, tribal, and national School Lunch and Breakfast Program requirements. Experience ensuring safety, health, and welfare of staff and students. Ability to provide encouragement, guidance, and resources to staff and students when needed. Treats others with respect, confronts negative behavior, and supports confrontations.
