Direct Juvenile Support Worker – The Harrisburg Juvenile Treatment Center (H.J.T.C.), Harrisburg, Arkansas

Pay

$17.75 - $18.82 per hour based on education and experience. Schedule includes 4 hours of guaranteed overtime each pay period.

What You Will Do

A Direct Juvenile Support Worker provides in‑person safety and security around the clock. In this role, you will provide for the physical, personal, and health needs of each youth through individual mentoring and skill development. You will create an atmosphere that supports the youth’s needs; monitor and document behaviors and activities; and participate and assist with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities.

You will collaborate with other professional staff to establish and meet the goals of each youth’s treatment plan.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
  • Ability to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
Schedule
  • 4 days per week, 10‑hour shifts
  • A Shift – Sunday/Monday/Tuesday: 7 AM–9 PM
  • A Shift – Wednesday: 7 AM–3 PM
  • B Shift – Thursday/Friday/Saturday: 7 AM–9 PM
  • B Shift – Wednesday: 1 PM–9 PM
