Backend Java Developer

Job Description

10+ years as a strong backend Java Developer with experience delivering JSON data to front‑end applications.

REST API development experience on at least two projects, using Spring Boot.

Capital Markets/Treasury finance domain expertise, including hedging, derivatives, options, futures, swaps, interest rates, commodities, syndicated loans, loan structuring, debt capital markets, securitization, fixed income trading, investment banking, and debt securities.

Additional desired experience:
Bank of America or other financial‑industry exposure. Angular or other front‑end frameworks is a large plus. Python knowledge is also appreciated.

• 10+ years of Java backend development
• Proficient in REST API architecture and JSON data exchange
• Spring Boot experience
• Capital Markets/Treasury domain knowledge (as outlined above)
• Strong problem‑solving and code quality skills
• Visible experience with at least two major API projects
• Preferred: exposure to Bank of America or financial industry projects
• Preferred:
  Angular front‑end or other JavaScript framework experience
• Preferred: knowledge of Python
