• Design and build scalable Golang‑based tooling that enables Confluent Cloud teams to deliver software safely, securely, and efficiently.
• Own and drive end‑to‑end execution of complex projects in production environments, with a strong focus on quality and reliability.
• Apply industry best practices and modern design patterns to create innovative, best‑in‑class solutions.
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders, bringing a customer‑first mindset to support a wide range of use cases and teams.

• Master’s Degree.

• 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or cloud networking.
• Strong foundation in systems design, development, and low‑level concepts (OS, networking, storage).
• Experience building and operating large‑scale distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Go, C++, Python, or other statically typed languages.
• Hands‑on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).

• Experience working on developer productivity tooling.
• Experience with EKS, GKE or AKS specific Kubernetes distributions.
