Senior Software Engineer

Adobe Content Platform & Collaboration (ACPC) is the cloud foundation behind millions of people creating, storing, and collaborating on content every day. We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep cloud-native systems experience to help evolve this globally distributed platform. You'll work on backend services operating at significant scale, with a strong bar for reliability, security, and performance. You'll join a collaborative team of 6 engineers based in Hamburg, working closely with colleagues in the US and India, contributing to capabilities used across Adobe products like Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator, Firefly, and Express.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and operate our Java-based Rendition Services
• Evolve scalable, secure, and reliable capabilities using modern cloud and distributed systems practices
• Improve system performance, resilience, and operability across multiple cloud regions
• Partner closely with teams building on top of our services

Must-have

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, backend or platform focus
• Strong Java skills and a solid understanding of distributed, event-driven systems
• Professional working proficiency in both German and English
• Curiosity about AI-assisted development tools
