PAM Transport was founded in Tontitown, Arkansas, in 1980 and has grown into an international company with more than 2,200 trucks and 8,500 trailers. Our goal is to provide exceptional service to our customers, beginning with passionate employees that thrive in a supportive environment.

The Log Clerk serves as a vital part of keeping our drivers safe and on the road. This position ensures drivers are knowledgeable and capable of maintaining DOT compliance with Hours of Service regulations through meaningful contact and engagement with the fleet.

On‑site, Monday‑Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Pay range $16–$18 per hour, dependent on experience.

• Proactively drive continuous improvement within the fleet.
• Explore and analyze information across multiple systems.
• Identify trends, patterns, and irregularities through independent evaluation and collaboration.
• Clearly communicate compliance expectations and company goals.
• Foster an environment of confidence, accountability, and resourcefulness.
• Collaborate with team members to strengthen departmental readiness.
• Provide reliable technical assistance with the electronic log system.
• Diagnose issues and deliver timely, compliant solutions.
• Engage in hands‑on and digital implementation of firmware and software updates to ensure systems remain current.

• In‑depth understanding of DOT regulations to maintain the company’s satisfactory rating and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Ability to inspire a culture of knowledge growth within the fleet.
• Strong analytical skills in recognizing patterns, inconsistencies, and improvement areas.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset supporting operational functionality and regulatory excellence.
• Ability to mentor fleet members one‑on‑one in DOT compliance.
