Bus Driver

Huntsville School District Transportation - Huntsville, Arkansas.

Provides safe and efficient transportation to and from school for students according to established routes and within established times and guidelines; provides safe efficient transportation to students on extra-curricular or other non-route trips.

• Performs and properly completes daily pre-trip inspections.
• Defensively drives specific route transporting students to and from school in a timely manner.
• Addresses behavior problems when necessary.
• Maintains open communication with parents.
• Uses chain-of-command to report major disciplinary problems.
• Inspects bus for damage at end of each run.
• Sweeps bus and leaves it in clean condition.
• Completes paperwork such as student count, record of mileage, accident reports, maintenance requests.

• Attends safety meetings, in-service training, and other workshops.
• Attends orientation meeting.
• Wash bus.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid Arkansas Class B CDL with P and S endorsements.
