Driver Summary

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Operates vehicle in accordance with Safety and Life Critical Rules and regulatory requirements. Performs pre and post-trip inspections. Reports unsafe situations. Attends trainings. Works with Operations Manager to improve route efficiencies. Notifies of incidents or service interruptions. Communicates customer requests. Completes end-of-day documentation. Supports other drivers as needed.

III. Qualifications

A. Required Qualifications

1 year operating a vehicle requiring a CDL; 1 year equivalent military driving within the last 7 years;
Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public. Must be at least 18 years of age. Legally eligible to work. CDL Class A with air-brake endorsement On Hire or CDL Class B with air-brake endorsement On Hire.

B. Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
