PositionSummary
The Samples Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and timely processing of sample orders for both internal and external clients. This position involves daily inbox and order management, inventory support, and coordination with multiple departments to deliver excellent service and maintain accuracy in all sample‑related functions. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily email inbox and sample order processing
- Communicate professionally with internal and external customers
- Prepare, label, and package daily shipments, including scanning and saving required documentation (e.g., COAs, SDSs)
- Maintain and update shipment tracking information
- Assist in inventory decisions and scheduling for down packing sample materials
- Support the stocking and organization of supplier sample inventory
- Manage product quarantines and drive resolution
- Contribute feedback to improve sample‑related standard operating procedures
- Assist with projects and process improvements led by the Samples Lead
- Help meet key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sample function
- Foster team collaboration and contribute to positive warehouse operations
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and handling chemicals safely
- Ability to lift and move containers up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence, accountability, and critical thinking
- Ability to work onsite Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
