We are seeking a detail‑oriented and highly motivated Junior Construction Accounting Specialist to join our rapidly growing construction team. This entry‑level position supports essential accounting and administrative functions, including job costing, billing, accounts payable, certified payroll, and union compliance.

This role offers strong growth potential with a clear path for advancement as systems, processes, and responsibilities evolve.

Base pay range: $45,000 – $55,000 per year.

Additional compensation: Annual bonus.

• Assist with job setup, cost codes, and budget tracking.
• Enter and maintain job cost data, including labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses.
• Support progress billing, time‑and‑material billing, and change order tracking.
• Track retainage and maintain accurate billing documentation.
• Prepare and submit certified payroll reports in compliance with project requirements.
• Process and track union dues and related payroll deductions.
• Maintain organized financial and project files.
• Support weekly and monthly job cost and financial reporting.

• 0–2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software.
• Exposure to construction accounting, payroll, or certified payroll preferred.
