Data Entry, Clerical
Our client, a major U.S. airline, is looking for three Compliance Specialists to support a short-term records cleanup project for its drug and alcohol testing program. It’s a 4 to 6 week contract, running from November 2 through mid December, fully onsite Monday through Friday in Arlington Heights, IL. This person will review paper drug testing files, confirm that required employer records are on file and match the system, enter and correct data, and flag missing or mismatched documents for the team.
The records are regulated and confidential, so accuracy and discretion are critical. We’re looking for someone who has done consistent, high-volume data entry or records work with confidential or regulated documents, such as medical records, HR or personnel files, claims, legal files, or background screening. Experience limited to occasional data entry as part of a front desk, reception, customer service, or sales role is not a fit, and this is not a compliance analysis or auditing role.
Candidates must be available to start November 2 and work through the end date. This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.

- Basic computer skills, including data entry systems and Microsoft Excel
- Able to work onsite Monday through Friday in Arlington Heights, IL
- Available to start November 2 and work through mid December
- Must pass a 5 panel drug screen
- Experience with drug and alcohol testing programs, occupational health, or a third party administrator (TPA)
- Familiarity with custody and control forms or chain of custody documentation
- Medical records, health information, or HIPAA-regulated records experience
- HR records, personnel file, or I-9 audit experience
- Experience with records cleanup, file audits, or scanning and indexing projects
- Previous temp or contract assignments completed through the end date
- Located near Arlington Heights or the northwest suburbs of Chicago
- Stays accurate and focused on repetitive, high-volume work
- Checks their own work and catches errors before they become problems
- Handles sensitive information with discretion
