Metro Prep High School, Grade School and Laureate Day School have been educating and supporting students with special needs for over 25 years supported by FGC. Using a multidisciplinary approach, Metro Prep and Laureate Day School provides educational and therapeutic learning opportunities in a small, nurturing environment. This allows our staff to tailor each student's program to meet his or her individual needs.

• Assist teacher when implementing individual, small group and large group lessons
• Assist students both academically and socially
• Assist teacher in maintaining classroom and school rules
• Participate in weekly planning
• Assist staff in crisis intervention and physical management

Regular School Year

Schedule:

Monday - Friday (8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)

Summer

Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.);
Wednesday (8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)

Experience:

30 semester hours college credit, pass paraprofessional exam or graduated from a paraprofessional program.
