Tagore Tech is seeking a talented and motivated RF Validation and Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our engineers and team‑members in testing, characterizing and optimizing our designs. The RF Validation and Test Engineer will be responsible for developing test programs and executing validation campaigns for our existing RF products of high‑power RF switches, Power Amplifiers (PA) and Low Noise Amplifiers (LNA).
This position involves test program automation, building, testing, debugging and optimizing test systems, and utilizing the systems for testing and characterizing products. Work may involve collaborating with Applications and Design Engineers to customize or validate solutions for our customers. An ideal candidate would have a strong background in RF system with hands‑on experience in high‑power RF components measurement.
- Design test automation protocols to optimize test systems for ease of use, accuracy, and critical data collection over environments.
- Create custom test bench systems required to fully characterize and optimize our products.
- Utilize your strong RF testing skills with experience in the use of network analyzers, signal analyzers, signal generators, Spectrum analyzers, Power Meters, oscilloscopes, and other lab equipment.
- Execute Spec Compliance test campaigns to assure our products meet/exceed data sheets and customer expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of industry experience in RF component/system testing and automation.
- Strong understanding of RF theory and practice, including transmission line theory, impedance matching, and noise figure analysis.
- Proficiency in test automation tools, such as Lab View/Test Stand, MATLAB, VBA, Python, and scripting such as SCPI is preferred.
- Experience with system design principles and the ability to create detailed schematics.
- Experience with high‑power RF components (PAs, LNAs, RF Switches) a plus.
- Working knowledge of wireless systems including: 5G, 4G, Radar, LMR, PMR, Tactical Radios, Drone communications systems.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
