Financial Analyst
Location:
Arlington Heights, IL | Full Time | Monday‑Friday, 9am – 5pm | Pay Range: $32.60 – $48.90 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Seeking a talented Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The Financial Analyst will support the hospital’s financial operations, budgeting, and decision‑making processes.
Responsibilities- Conduct in‑depth financial analysis, including revenue and expense tracking, variance analysis, and forecasting.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify trends, opportunities, and improvement areas.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and maintain annual budgets.
- Assist in financial forecasting and long‑term financial planning.
- Generate and distribute financial reports to senior management, department leaders, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
- Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost containment and efficiency improvements.
- Provide recommendations to reduce expenses while maintaining high‑quality patient care.
- Build financial models to support strategic decision‑making, such as capital investment analysis and service line profitability.
- Maintain and update financial databases and systems to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to enhance data integrity and reporting capabilities.
- Assist in financial audits and ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 2+ years of financial analysis experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency with Excel and financial modeling.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Certified Surgical First Assistant (CFA®), CPA or similar preferred.
