Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist – Arlington Heights, IL

Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics (CPO) is one of the largest orthotic and prosthetic service providers in the U.S. Our mission is Restoring Mobility and Quality of Life. We seek a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist to provide high‑standard patient care, collaborate with physicians, and market our services to patients, case managers, and referral sources.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic services to patients, ensuring comfort and satisfaction with devices.
  • Collaborate openly with physicians and other clinical professionals regarding patient needs.
  • Adhere to all compliance and safety regulations with Medicare, OSHA, and state practice standards.
  • Consistently convene with physicians, case managers, and referral sources to market prosthetic and orthotic services.
Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build professional relationships with physicians, therapists, and patients.
  • Sales experience in health care services (preferred).
  • Effective organizational, time management, and planning skills.
  • Understanding of anatomy and medical terminology.
  • Thorough understanding of componentry and its suitability/reliability for specific uses.
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • American Board Certified (ABC) certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Illinois.
  • Two (2) to five (5) years experience providing orthotic or prosthetic services preferred.
