Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, LLC is one of the largest independent physician‑owned orthopedic practices in the U.S., with 100 locations and 150 physicians throughout the Chicagoland area.
Responsibilities- Carries out treatment plans established by the physical therapist.
- Provides exceptional care in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
- Writes documentation on patient status per compliance guidelines.
- Communicates with supervising PT on progress notes, discharges, etc.
- Supervises rehabilitation technicians and administrative staff as needed.
- Completes daily paperwork and billing dossiers ethically.
- Maintains active state license with required CEUs.
- Builds positive relationships with PT and physician teams.
- Takes active role in patient medical team and facilitates relationships with PTs, MDs, and case managers.
- Participates in IBJI-sponsored programs: mentoring, clinical educator, special interest groups, community outreach.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
- Current license to practice in Illinois.
- Fast‑paced work environment adaptability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to lift >25 pounds.
- Good body mechanics for lifting, pulling, pushing.
- Ability to stand/sit >30 minutes.
- Proficiency with computer for extended periods.
Base salary offers may vary based on location, skills, and experience. Benefits for those eligible (30+ hours per week) include medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, disability, 401(k) with company match, profit sharing, wellness program, health savings accounts, flexible savings accounts, plan, accident, critical illness, and hospital benefits. Paid holidays and paid time off are also offered.
