American Traveler is hiring a Radiology X-ray Technologist for a 16-week day shift contract requiring ARRT (R) certification and prior travel assignment experience.

• Radiology department with ortho-focused imaging needs
• Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM or 9:00 AM-6:00 PM depending on daily ortho needs
• Rotating weekends up to every other week, Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM-12:00 PM, with one weekday off to maintain 40 hours/week
• 40 hours per week
• No floating or on-call requirements
• Uses Epic EMR

• ARRT (R) certification required
• IEMA license required if applicable
• BLS certification required (American Heart or American Red Cross only)
• Active state license and certifications required; pending licenses/certifications not accepted
• Minimum 2+ years of experience, 4+ years preferred
• Ortho experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior travel assignment experience required, with a minimum of 1 completed travel assignment
• New graduates will not be accepted
• Must provide date of birth for consideration
• Two professional references required, with one reference mandatory from the most recent travel assignment

• Must complete a Relias EKG test with a score of 80% or higher prior to consideration
• Must pass an on-site EKG test on Day 1 of orientation; a study book will be provided in advance
• Must work at least 1-2 holidays during the contract
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Returning permanent or per diem staff must be away from the facility for 12 months before being considered as a traveler
• RTO limited to a maximum of 7 days for 13-week contracts
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Local radius of 50 miles applies
• Candidates should expect a brief interview (10-15 minutes) with the facility as part of the hiring process
