Position: SAP Systems Analyst

Location:

MI/IL

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related Engineering discipline, or equivalent and relevant experience

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in business workshops to understand existing technology/processes and plan for new enhancements or upgrades.
  • Gather functional and system requirements from the business.
  • Review Solution Design Documents, analyze functional scope, estimations, and testing costs.
  • Coordinate with Business and Development teams on functional specifications and conduct Q&A sessions.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with Testing team.
  • Upload requirements into Test Management tools (e.g., HP ALM) and prepare Requirement Traceability Metrics.
  • Review Test Strategies, Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Estimations, and Test Schedules.
  • Develop, manage, and track test cases throughout testing phases, adhering to testing methodologies and tools.
  • Design test cases, execute tests, and manage defects.
  • Oversee all aspects of the testing lifecycle, including preparation, reviews, execution, and reporting.
  • Ensure timely completion of testing activities and quality assurance for defect-free releases.
  • Coordinate resources and logistics, ensuring adherence to standards.
  • Monitor and report daily test execution progress.
  • Ensure quality deliverables and manage defect resolution efficiently.
  • Communicate test status, issues, and budget updates to Project Management.
  • Implement automation as needed to improve testing efficiency.
