Associate Attorney - Family Law

Associate Attorney - Family Law at Gardi, Haught, Fischer and Bhosale, Ltd.

Mid-size law firm in the Northwest Suburbs seeks an Associate Attorney with five (5) or more years of family law experience.

The successful candidate will manage a range of family law matters and provide client-centered representation that is both strategic and compassionate. Trial experience is preferred.

• Court appearances, motion practice, and case management
• Drafting pleadings, discovery, and legal correspondence
• Negotiation and settlement conferences
• Pretrial preparation and trial readiness
• Client counseling and case strategy development
• Familiarity with matters involving:
  • Allocation of parental responsibilities and parenting time
  • Child support and maintenance
  • Pre- and post-decree enforcement/modification
  • Orders of protection and related proceedings

• High integrity and strong work ethic
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professionalism with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
• Organized, responsive, and detail-oriented
• Eager to learn and committed to excellence

We represent clients in Cook, DuPage, Lake, Will, and McHenry counties. Applicants must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to court as needed.
