OverviewThe Project Manager is responsible for driving profitability by leading multiple projects from conceptualization to implementation. This includes defining project objectives, retrieving scopes of work for each phase, communicating progress to key stakeholders, overseeing quality control, acquiring necessary resources, and coordinating team efforts to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Salary for this role starts at $85,000 and offers are given from a total compensation perspective. JTEKT Machinery takes education, experience, and other job specific factors into consideration when making offers.
Responsibilities- Manage the full life cycle of objectives from inception (proposal and/or quote) stage through completion.
- Develop and manage planning and execution for all phases of projects (labor scheduling, material sourcing, budgeting, etc.).
- Partner with team members to develop, implement, and control documentation for projects.
- Maintain an open line of communication regarding project plans to key internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide leadership to execute the project ensuring that it is completed on time and within scope.
- Mitigate risks, challenges, and obstacles through daily guidance and support of project team members and other resources.
- Evaluate progress of projects to develop opportunities to improve performance.
- Demonstrating initiative and being proactive to meet the defined objectives of a project.
- Travel Requirements: 20% based on business demands

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related discipline.
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
- 3-5 years of related work experience in manufacturing project management and/or comparable management experience.
- 3-5 years of experience with planning and direction of manpower and/or material resources to complete a common objective.
- Advanced knowledge of close-tolerance machining and related metrology.
- Intermediate user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and MS Project.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Understanding of hydraulic/pneumatic/lubrication, electrical circuits.
- Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Epicor E11.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Salesforce.
