The Account Director will serve as the day-to-day and strategic lead for a high-profile client, ensuring seamless account management while contributing innovative ideas that drive measurable results. This leader will play a key role in building client trust, managing account financials, and mentoring team members.
Key Responsibilities- Lead client relationship management, ensuring daily needs are met while steering long-term strategy.
- Partner with clients to uncover business opportunities and develop integrated marketing solutions across digital, retail, and traditional channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Insight, Creative, PR, Digital) to deliver best-in-class work.
- Confidently present strategic recommendations and campaign work to senior client stakeholders.
- Manage account financials, including forecasting, budget oversight, and profitability.
- Identify and propose organic growth opportunities within the account.
- Provide mentorship and direction to account team members, maintaining a positive team culture.
- Represent Mower externally through networking, thought leadership, and industry engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years of account management or client-side marketing experience. Demonstrated experience in consumer, CPG, or retail marketing. Experience with automotive, lawncare, power tool products and/or retail strongly preferred.
- Proven experience leading integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, retail, and brand activations.
- Strong client presentation skills and ability to build senior-level relationships.
- Skilled at managing account financials and identifying growth opportunities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Google Analytics.
- Up to 25% business travel required.
