American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift contract requiring an IL RN license and Epic experience.

• Medical/Surgical unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts starting at 19:00
• Required to float to all Med/Surg units
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required as needed

• Active IL RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required, 3+ years preferred
• Epic EMR experience required and must be reflected in employment history
• Two current professional references from a Supervisor/Manager/Charge in the relevant area within the last year
• At least one travel reference preferred

• Provide direct patient care to Medical/Surgical patients
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Returning permanent or per diem staff must be away for 12 months before being eligible to return as a traveler
• RTO limited to a maximum of 3 days for 8-week contracts and 7 days for 13-week contracts
• Candidates will participate in a brief onsite interview with the hospital as part of the hiring process
