Overview

The Moorings of Arlington Heights is seeking a dynamic Waitstaff to provide excellent service to residents and guests dining at The Moorings. Open availability on weekdays and weekends is needed. This role is vital in ensuring a pleasant dining experience by efficiently serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with any dining needs.

$17.51 - $24.46 (based on years of experience)

• Complete assigned tasks before, during, and after dining room operations, including menu review and side jobs.
• Serve food and beverages in the proper sequence.
• Utilize a tablet for order taking with accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of meals offered and adhere to dietary modifications as needed.
• Keep tables neat and clean, promptly removing soiled dishes and resetting tables uniformly.
• Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors, addressing any complaints or unsafe conditions.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, including those in the Employee Handbook.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and apply basic sanitation standards.
• Accurately plate and serve meals according to ticket orders, with attention to dietary needs in a healthcare setting.

• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Proficient in using a tablet for order taking.
• Knowledgeable about meals offered and modified diets.
• Strong communication skills.
