Logistics Coordinator – GE Health Care

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for executing on shipments, reporting transportation metrics, identifying trends across global transportation methods and practices, managing data, ensuring that internal customers’ needs are met and that company policy and international trade compliance regulations are adhered to.

About the Role

Our Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business is the number one global supplier of contrast media and molecular imaging agents used to enhance medical imaging exams. PDx products support three patients every second around the world.

Responsibilities
  • Schedules, coordinates and tracks both domestic and international shipments.
  • Ensures airlines and carriers are selected based on company objectives for cost and delivery.
  • Maintains shipping records, including providing tracking or shipping history information to customers on request.
  • Prepares shipping paperwork and completes shipping transactions in appropriate systems.
  • Coordinates Returned Material Authorization (RMA) process with customers.
  • Overcomes roadblocks to ensure delivery is made in line with internal and external customers’ requirements.
  • Supports variable cost productivity initiatives.
  • Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
  • Works cross‑functionally with manufacturing and quality to identify improvement opportunities and implement successful changes.
  • Prepares boxes with appropriate labels for shipment as required.
  • Performs logistics distribution duties in compliance with current GDP as per annual GDP training and local procedures.
  • Is aware of and complies with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Completes all planned quality & compliance training within the defined deadlines.
  • Identifies and reports any quality or compliance concerns and takes immediate corrective action as required.
  • Possesses proficient knowledge, understanding and leadership for international trade compliance, identifies reports, and resolves any trade compliance issues.
  • Has working knowledge of IATA and DOT regulations as they pertain to the transportation of radioactive materials.
  • Understands supply chain/purchasing process procedures and operates within them to ensure compliance with the quality system.
  • Ensures the creation of accurate, complete and timely records tied to product.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or local equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate well and work with others.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Ability to interface with customers and suppliers in a business‑professional manner on the phone and through e‑mail.
  • Prior experience in logistics or supply chain, or prior experience in shipping/receiving.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced changing environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional, global team environment.
  • Solid communication and analytical skills, including experience communicating with others from different countries and cultures.
Benefits & Compensation

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $60,016.00 – $90,024.00 Annual. The specific compensation offered may be influenced by skills, qualifications, experience and location. This position may also be eligible to earn performance‑based incentive compensation.
