Position: Camp Coordinator for 2025 Summer Camps

Art Camp Coordinator for Vacation Arts Camp (Summer 2025)

During the February, April and Summer vacation weeks, Arlington Center for the Arts offers a variety of fun, creative art camps for children in Grades 1-12. Our camps value imagination, artistic exploration and self-expression.

During the 2025 camp season, our in-person camp programs run Monday – Friday, from 9:00 am - 4:15 pm.

Camp Coordinator will assist year‑round staff with the daily operations of the camp, including:

  • Camper behavioral management
  • Daily administrative tasks (printing camper nametags, organizing paperwork, etc.)
  • First Aid support
  • Classroom support
  • Overseeing camper check‑in and check‑out processes
  • Substituting as needed

The Camp Coordinator will be contracted to work Monday - Friday, 8:45 a.m.

- 4:15 p.m., with two unpaid half‑hour breaks each day.

Weeks:

  • Week 1 (6/24‑6/27) – 4 day week
  • Week 2 (6/30‑7/3) – 4 day week

Qualifications
  • 2 years lived experience working with children/students/youth
  • Adaptable, able to take initiative, and self‑advocate needs
  • Strong organizational skills; reliable
  • Ability to resolve conflict with youth
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Google suite and willingness to learn additional administrative processes
  • Able to bring own laptop/tablet to assist with administrative tasks
