Job Description

Position: Grade 4 Teacher at Dallin Elementary

Arlington Public Schools are accepting applications from individuals interested in teaching Grade 4 at Dallin Elementary School beginning in the  school year.

Responsibilities include collaborating with grade level teams and general and special educators throughout the school and district, implementing the district’s approved curriculum for all subjects, and differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all students in the classroom. Teachers are expected to work diligently and collaboratively, to support student learning, and to participate in district-wide initiatives and professional learning communities.

Qualifications:

Candidates must be appropriately licensed for the position and possess a valid teacher license. A license in English as a Second Language is strongly preferred. Candidates should be collaborative professionals who enjoy working with children and are willing to adapt instruction for diverse learners.

Arlington has a well‑established new teacher induction program with mentoring throughout the school year. The first official work day will be August 31, 2026, with several days of orientation and training during the last two weeks of August.

Salary and benefits are consistent with the collective bargaining agreement between the Arlington School Committee and the Arlington Education Association. Salary placement is based on education and experience and can be found on the district website.
