Position:
Speech and Language Pathologist

• Bachelor’s Degree;
  Master’s Degree preferred
• MA Certification in Speech and Language
• Ability to offer variety of services and complete assessments

• Provide therapeutic services to students with a range of speech and language disorders and delays, both individually and in groups, for elementary school students.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations and implement treatment plans in relation to student needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff to implement effective therapy integrated with the student’s program.
• Serve as a consultant to school staff regarding the development of services.
• Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences.
• Write goals for IEPs.
• Maintain thorough records for each student receiving services.

Terms of Employment: 183 days

Special Education Coordinator and Building Principal

Salary and Benefits are consistent with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Arlington School Committee and the Arlington Education Association.

Arlington has a well‑established new teacher induction program with mentoring throughout the school year.
