Grade 6 Social Studies (Ancient Civilizations) Long Term Substitute
The Arlington Public Schools are accepting applications from applicants interested in teaching Grade 6 Social Studies (Ancient Civilizations) at the Gibbs School. This is a long term substitute position from late October 2026 through late January 2027, to cover for a teacher who will be on a leave of absence.
Candidates with licensure in secondary History will be preferred. Candidates must also be collaborative professionals who will work with department and school level colleagues, regular and special educators throughout the School. Must love working with children and be willing to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students in the classroom. In addition, Arlington expects teachers to work diligently and collaboratively to implement the District's approved curriculum for all subjects.
