Position Overview
A family‑owned and privately held property management company, First Realty Management has more than 70 years of experience. We combine the resources of a large company with the personal touch and attention to detail of a small, local firm. We seek a Condominium Portfolio Manager in the greater Boston area to manage properties in Arlington, Watertown, and Cambridge, traveling between the three sites (one day in Arlington, one in Watertown, three in Cambridge).
Previous condominium management and experience with condominium boards are required. Experience managing capital projects is highly preferred.
- Ensures efficient operation of condominium communities within established guidelines.
- Provides superior customer service to residents, condominium owners/board members.
- Drafts and completes annual budgets following both company and client guidelines.
- Prepares monthly board packages, attends monthly meetings, and completes requested action items between board meetings.
- Works with subcontractors to maintain the properties.
- Provides administrative support for the properties.
- Responds to resident requests in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.
- Effectively utilizes all company software (Vantaca) for storage, processing work orders, vendor contracts, meeting minutes, board packages, unit owner communication, as well as invoice processing.
- Completes weekly site visits to all properties within the assigned portfolio.
- Excellent resident relations skills
- Understanding of condo documents and association by‑laws
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven leadership skills and ability to take initiative
- Superior judgment and decision‑making skills
- 2–5+ years of experience in condominium management
- A bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Experience with Vantaca preferred
- Experience with capital project management
