Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service (Pawnbroker) at EZCORP, Arlington Heights, Illinois 60005.

We offer a 5‑week paid training program, competitive hourly pay based on experience ($15–$17/hr), and a clear career path to leadership positions. Earn a $0.50 raise and promotion to Pawnbroker upon training completion, and additional $1/hr for certification. Opportunities include Lead Pawnbroker, Assistant Manager with 6‑month training, and beyond.

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, interacting in person and on the phone.
• Process sales, loans, and extensions.
• Perform opening and closing store duties.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, respectful environment that differentiates us from the competition.
• Assist customers in reaching mutually satisfying agreements on pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and more.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Customer service, cashier, or retail experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug test (performed after a conditional offer).
• Knowledge of commonly pawned items (tools, jewelry, firearms, electronics) is a plus.
• Sales background is a plus.
• Bilingual language skills are a plus.
