Day in the Life of the Direct Sales Representative

Earn up to $89,000+ with uncapped commission potential. Base salary of $39,000 with a $5,000 sign‑on bonus.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect, qualify, and generate sales within an assigned Greater Boston, MA territory.
  • Identify and sell appropriate products and services to meet customer needs.
  • Engage in technical discussions through demonstrations and presentations.
  • Execute sales strategy to increase sales within respective territories.
  • Prepare sales information for customers and distribute marketing material.
  • Participate in special sale events and remain knowledgeable of product developments.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Experience in telephone, marketing or sales background in telecommunications preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products.
  • Excellent communication, relationship‑building, organizational, presentation and influence skills.
  • Self‑starter, detail oriented, able to work autonomously in a fast‑paced, outdoor environment.
  • Must meet physical requirements: walking or traveling to visit properties, lifting up to 20 lbs, standing for extended periods.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $39,000.
  • Commission: uncapped; target $50,000 annually.
  • $5,000 sign‑on bonus (once).
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match.

  • Paid time off: 80 hours per year, increasing with tenure.
  • Floating holiday: 40 hours per year.
  • Paid holidays: 7 days per year.
